Change Things
ChadStone came to be when Rob Chadderton and Alex Stone wanted to change things up within the accountancy industry. With over 35 years of experience in the industry between them, they knew there was a gap to fill.

Accountants that put business owners at complete ease and got them feeling excited about their business again. All whilst giving them the best possible service.
Their aim with ChadStone has always been to bring a fresh perspective to the industry that benefits their clients and their team.
9 years on and the ChadStone team has 11 people and is growing!
Head of reaching things off the top shelf.
Looking after the team.
Balance – I think it’s a foundational value. If that’s right, a lot of other things fall into place more easily.
The Refused – New Noise (but only when the chorus kicks in, because I want to feel like the American Football players in Friday Night Lights when they come out of the tunnel!)
I’m actually only 5, 11”. I wear 8 inch heels every day.
I really want go to the moon, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. So free fall sky diving would be top.
I can’t have Head of IT as Chad already has that, so I’ll just have to be the ‘Head of Operations’ – that sounds fancy enough.
Reliability, getting things done!
Fun – I love that we actively try to make what is not thought of as being a fun profession into one. I think we do pretty well!
Motorhead – The Game
My first gig was the Foo Fighters, way back in 1999, I’ve now seen them 12 times in total!
To visit Japan, I’d love to visit anyway but now that Super Mario World is open at Universal Studios Japan, that has jumped right to the top of my list.
Boss of making sure everyone behaves themselves.
For being dependable – always doing what I say I will (or trying my very best) no matter how long it takes.
Together – I genuinely love coming to work and that’s a little bit about what I do but mostly about the awesome people I get to spend my days with. They honestly don’t make it feel like work – I feel really lucky to work at ChadStone.
McFly Red – it’s the most kick-ass intro to a song ever (mainly because it takes me back to seeing them live and it’s what they walked in to).
I used to be a synchronised swimmer and once came fifth in a national competition.
Wow, to see my great grandad’s grave in Norway. He was killed in the Battle of Jutland in the First World War and his body washed up and he was buried in Norway.
Director of first impressions.
Putting people at ease when they walk through the door and making people smile.
Fun! – There are absolutely times to be serious but I’m definitely more comfortable sending a silly GIF or dancing at my desk (whilst working hard of course!)
Raise a Glass by Pink
I have a very real fear of broken glass.
To walk the Inca trail to Machu Picchu.
Regional Manager.
Being Hardworking and Reliable.
Adventure – We are always encouraged to try new things, give things a go and go outside our comfort zone.
Chelsea Dagger – The Fratellis
That I am my parent’s favourite child (I hope my brother reads this).
To do a skydive.
Manager of Regional Manager
Being friendly and approachable.
Fun! Because it’s not a word you automatically associate with accountants, but we do genuinely have a great time here at ChadStone.
Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit
When I was 19, I wheelied a motorbike into a house and broke my wrist in multiple places. It required two operations to fix! It was ‘wheelie’ clumsy of me…
To travel the world on my motorbike.
Assistant to the Regional Manager
A good sense of Humour (I hope !!)
Fun – When joining a workplace, I think a large consideration for most is the environment and people you’ll be ‘stuck’ with all day, especially with the amount of time spent at work.
Here at ChadStone each day is fun, we enjoy being around each other and it certainly takes away that ‘stuck’ feel of an office you can sometimes get. It feels positive, like everyone enjoys coming to work and being in the office, and most importantly, fun. Something I definitely don’t take for granted!
Rollin’ – Limp Bizkit
Despite being from Wolverhampton, I have never stolen a car stereo!
A road trip around America in a Ford Mustang, being big on cars the Mustang is Key! Starting in California and driving through, hoping to end up in New York in one piece, with the intention of seeing as much of the country as possible on my way and finding some great roads! And places to eat of course.
The tallest person with hair in the office.
Fun, knowledgeable and a team player.
Celebration – It’s important to recognise hard work and have a few beers every now and then….
Can’t Hold Us – Macklemore
Unfortunately, I am an Everton fan, so I get some stick in the office…
To go on a safari in Africa
The Apprentice
Someone that produces work to the highest ability, and help clients feel less intimidated about visiting their accountants.
Balance because it shows that we work hard and to a high level, but also have a laugh, a joke and celebration. Work hard, play hard!
Flight of the Valkyries
I don’t add sauces to foods – no ketchup, barbecue or mayo goes anywhere near my food, no matter the food.
Riding in a Hot air Balloon in Cappadocia
The 2nd tallest ginger Everton fan called Alex
Spreading my positivity throughout the team and being able to make out the bright side of every Situation.
Together – I love how close everyone here is as a team. We can all have a laugh but can also get the job done and I hope that comes across to our clients as well.
(We’re not friends outside the office, we all hate each other. Only colleagues)
We Are! – Hiroshi Kitadani
I’m scared of rings… like on your fingers… I always imagine if I were to put one on it would get stuck and I’d never be able to take it off again or someone would have to amputate my finger. Better safe than sorry.
Going to Japan, especially during cherry blossom season! I think that’s the main one, but I’d love to travel around the whole country because of how diverse it is. Don’t know about climbing any mountains though, I’ll just look at those and imagine I’m doing it.
I would choose my title to be the Shortest in the Office.
When it comes to work, I want to be known for always working hard and being committed to my job.
My favourite ChadStone value is Self-improvement, I like the idea that there is always room for improvement and having the ability to grow as an individual leads to team growth.
If I had an intro song that played every time I entered the room, it would be Moment For Life by Nicki Minaj.
Something about me that isn’t common knowledge is I am a Fisher Woman.
Top of my bucket list is to travel to Peru to visit Machu Picchu.
The Nobel Villager.
Being reliable and ensuring work is completed to the best standard.
Celebration as it’s good to recognise and praise achievements.
Open the door and see what you find – Noel Gallagher.
